In this class video, Travis Martin introduces the upcoming Staggernot Challenge, a faith-based July weight loss challenge designed to help participants lose at least 15 pounds through discipline, daily movement, and renewed commitment to healthy habits. He explains that lasting transformation begins with learning to say “no” to unhealthy behaviors, negative thinking, and food choices that derail progress while embracing faith, gratitude, and personal responsibility. Using the buffalo as the challenge mascot, Travis encourages members to face difficulties head-on rather than avoid them, emphasizing that growth comes through perseverance.

He outlines the challenge rules, including earning eating episodes through daily step goals, tracking weight each morning, utilizing simple “emergency” meal plans when weight increases, and focusing on faith, accountability, and consistency. Throughout the class, he reminds members that weight loss is about gaining health, confidence, freedom, and momentum, while encouraging everyone to rely on God, support one another, and build habits that can create lasting change beyond the challenge itself.
